VOOPOO UFORCE-X Tank II Review – Triple Top Airflow Sub-Ohm Tank

2026-04-28 reviews

From Vaping Hardware | Richard Winter March 23, 2026

In our previous review, we took an in-depth look at the DRAG 6 Mod and its impressive features. Today, we're focusing entirely on the star of the show when it comes to flavor delivery - the all-new UFORCE-X Tank II.

The UFORCE-X Tank II takes the best bits from both the UFORCE-X and UFORCE-L tanks. It continues to accept the renowned PnP-X range of coils but reverts back to the quarter turn locking top cap from the UFORCE-L tank, which in my opinion is a superior filling system, and now features triple top airflow with fully adjustable Cyclops slots.

I would like to thank Siren and Rebecca at VOOPOO for sending us the UFORCE-X Tank II for the purpose of this review. As always this review is completely unbiased and is based on my honest opinions during my time using and reviewing the product.

Overview of the UFORCE-X Tank II

The UFORCE-X Tank II has an e-liquid capacity of 5 mL (standard) or 2 mL (TPD). It features a quarter turn lock/unlock top fill removable cap with a wide bore drip tip and fully adjustable triple slot top-located airflow control. It accepts the complete range of VOOPOO's PNP-X push fit coils and comes supplied with both the PNP-X 0.15 ohm and 0.3 ohm coils.

Preparing to Use the UFORCE-X Tank II

Remove the UFORCE-X Tank II from the foam insert and take out the pre-fitted PNP-X coil. Drip a few drops of e-liquid into each wicking port, refit the coil into the bottom of the tank and re-secure the base of the tank.

Fill the tank with your e-liquid and leave to stand for 10-15 minutes so the e-liquid fully saturates the wicking material. After this time has elapsed, screw the UFORCE-X Tank II into the 510 thread on the top of your mod and start vaping.

UFORCE-X Tank II Design and Appearance

Previous UFORCE-X Tank (sliding top cap)
New UFORCE-X Tank II (quarter turn cap)

The UFORCE-X Tank II builds upon its predecessors - the UFORCE-X and UFORCE-L tanks from the DRAG 5 and DRAG 4 kits. In essence, this new tank takes the best features from both: the quarter turn top cap from the UFORCE-L and the top airflow system from the UFORCE-X, now upgraded with triple Cyclops slots.

The UFORCE-X Tank II is a top fill and top variable airflow tank with a removable 810 wide bore mouthpiece and a 5 mL e-liquid capacity when the Pyrex bubble glass is fitted. The dimensions of the 5 mL tank are 29.1 mm in diameter by 53.4 mm tall. TPD users will receive the 2 mL version which has a slightly smaller profile.

Made from stainless steel, the UFORCE-X Tank II feels very solid and well constructed. The threads are smooth and well machined, and the quarter turn top cap and airflow ring have a positive, satisfying action. It's a substantial tank, weighing in at 64 g with the 5 mL bubble glass and coil installed.

Opening the top cap: Grasp the body of the tank, push down slightly on the top cap, turn anti-clockwise a quarter turn, and lift away. There are several notches around the diameter of the top cap to aid grip.

The underside of the top cap features a small clear silicone rubber O-ring around the base of the center section that fits into the chimney opening to create an airtight seal. Two small tags on this center section locate into the chimney and lock securely in place when closed.

With the top cap removed, you'll find two fill port openings, each approximately 7 mm with a silicone membrane seal. Simply pass the tip of your e-liquid bottle through to fill the tank. Either fill port can be used, as the other opening serves as an air release to prevent e-liquid from spitting back out.

Below the top cap is a variable airflow control ring, making the UFORCE-X Tank II a top airflow design that minimizes the risk of leaking. Triple Cyclops slots (11.4 mm by 2.3 mm each) with open and closed stop ends provide excellent adjustment range. Printed on the ring are "VOOPOO", "PNP-X", and "DTL".

Underneath the airflow ring, alongside each of the 3 airflow slots, are markings "0, 1, 2 and 3" which serve as reference points showing how far the slots are open.

With the quarter turn top cap removed, you can pull off the airflow ring for cleaning. Note that the ring will only fit back on one way around.

Accessing the coil chamber: Unscrew the base of the tank which incorporates the threaded 510 connector. Once removed, you can insert the push fit PNP-X coil into the bottom of the tank.

Inside the 510 base, there is a gold plated spring loaded center coil positive contact pin isolated from the base plate with a silicone seal. Two raised tags on either side of this pin locate with the negative coil contact plate.

With the 510 base removed, the 5 mL Pyrex glass can be gently eased off from its silicone rubber seals for cleaning or replacement. The glass fits either way, so no need to worry about orientation.

On the underside of the tank, the words "UFORCE-X Tank II" are printed in small white lettering together with CE markings.

The only other markings are on the chimney section - three images of a three-headed wolf-like figure. This emblem also appeared on the earlier UFORCE-X and UFORCE-L tanks.

Color options for the UFORCE-X Tank II include Silver, Black, and Gunmetal. The unit that came with our Metal Grey DRAG 6 kit is Gunmetal.

The UFORCE-X Tank II dismantles into 7 sections (including the coil). It incorporates 2 O-rings sealing the Pyrex glass, 1 O-ring sealing the airflow control ring, 1 O-ring sealing the 510 base section, 1 O-ring sealing the removable top cap, and 2 O-rings on the 810 drip tip.

Having used the earlier UFORCE-L and UFORCE-X tanks extensively, the UFORCE-X Tank II combines the best of both into a top-class, high-performing tank.

PNP-X Coil Performance

The range of push fit PNP-X coils makes the UFORCE-X Tank II extremely versatile. Two PNP-X coils are supplied with the tank: a 0.15 ohm mesh coil rated at 60 W - 80 W and a 0.3 ohm mesh coil rated at 32 W - 40 W.

Additional PNP-X coils available for purchase include:

  • 0.2 ohm mesh rated at 40 W - 60 W
  • 0.45 ohm mesh rated at 25 W - 32 W
  • 0.6 ohm mesh rated at 18 W - 23 W
  • 0.8 ohm mesh rated at 12 W - 16 W
  • 1.0 ohm mesh rated at 10 W - 13 W

Each PNP-X coil has the coil resistance and the minimum/maximum recommended wattage range stamped on the casing. VOOPOO claims each coil can sustain a minimum of 100 mL of e-liquid cycled through it.

All PNP-X mesh coils are push fit type, use Thermo-Stable cotton as the wicking material, and feature a patented 4-layer leak-proof design. Each coil has 4 sealing O-rings that are color coded for each resistance type, providing an excellent seal.

PNP-X 0.15 ohm Mesh Coil - Black O-Rings

VOOPOO specifies the wattage range for this coil as 60 W - 80 W. My ideal wattage for this coil was around 25 W - 30 W with the airflow fully open. Flavor and vapor production were very impressive. The airflow on this tank produces one of the best DTL draws available. Increasing the wattage above 30 W reduces draw time and produces a warmer vape, while intensifying flavor and vapor.

PNP-X 0.3 ohm Mesh Coil - Red O-Rings

VOOPOO specifies the wattage range for this coil as 32 W - 40 W. My ideal wattage for this coil was around 15 W - 20 W with the airflow fully open. Flavor and vapor matched that of the 0.15 ohm coil at similar proportional power levels.

Coil Summary

Vaping on these coils at lower wattages produces excellent results. The recommended wattage range felt a little intense for my personal preference. Airflow from the triple cyclops slots is very airy and delivers a superb DTL draw with no detectable turbulence. For a Restrictive Direct to Lung (RDL) draw, the airflow control ring needs to be just off the fully closed position.

How do I Fill the UFORCE-X Tank II?

The quarter turn top cap makes filling very easy. Simply turn the top cap anti-clockwise until it stops, then lift it off.

You'll see two kidney-shaped fill ports, each with a slightly raised silicone rubber shroud. Place your e-liquid bottle tip into one of the fill ports and fill to just below the top of the glass tank. Do NOT fill down the center chimney hole.

When replacing the top cap, align the small protruding tags on the underside so they fit flush into the center hole, then turn clockwise a quarter turn until it locks shut.

Quick Tip: For first-time use, drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the wicking ports of the coil first. Push the coil into the tank, fill the tank, and leave to stand for 10-15 minutes before vaping. This fully saturates the wick and prolongs coil life.

How do I Change the Coil in the UFORCE-X Tank II?

Unscrew the tank from your mod. Grasp both the top cap and glass tube, then slowly unscrew the bottom 510 threaded base section anti-clockwise until it separates from the main body.

The PNP-X coils are push fit type - simply pull the old coil out from the bottom of the tank and push a new one in.

Note: If the tank has e-liquid when removing the coil, spillage will occur. To minimize this, hold the tank upside down (drip tip pointing down), place your finger tightly over the drip tip opening, then remove the coil.

Install the new coil while still covering the drip tip. Turn the tank right-side up, remove your finger, and re-secure the base section (don't overtighten). Fill the tank using the procedure above and allow 15 minutes for the new coil to saturate before vaping.

Review Summary

The UFORCE-X Tank II represents VOOPOO's continued commitment to refining their product line. Having used the earlier UFORCE-L and UFORCE-X tanks extensively, I'm pleased to find that this new tank combines the best features of both while adding meaningful improvements.

The quarter turn top cap is more secure than the sliding design, and the triple top airflow adjustment is smooth and effective. The PNP-X coil platform remains one of the best stock coil systems available today, delivering outstanding flavor and vapor with excellent longevity.

Whether you're pairing it with the DRAG 6 mod or using it on another 510 device, the UFORCE-X Tank II is a top-tier sub-ohm tank that deserves serious consideration.
